A History of Growth for McGee Commercial Tire & Service

On August 10, 1974, McGee Commercial Tire & Service' founder, John McGee, opened his first two "O.K. Tire Store" outlets. John McGee managed these stores with quality tire service and great customer service in mind. This business approach helped him become very successful. John McGee focused on being one of the best in the tire business and he soon reached his goal.

Over time, John McGee and his son Mike McGee grew their Florida tire business from a handful of tire and auto service shops to 20 full-service locations. As the McGee family business kept booming, Mike McGee took the time to learn all about the retail tire and auto service industry. When the time was right, Mike McGee became the President of McGee Commercial Tire & Service, but soon things changed again.

A Time of Change

Now McGee Commercial Tire & Service partnered with one of the largest independently owned-and-operated automotive service chains in the country, and the third-largest independent tire dealer! We're affiliated with Tire Choice, a true one-stop shop for great prices on top quality tires and professional automotive service and repairs.

As part of the Tire Choice family, McGee Commercial Tire & Service' name changed on the signage. Some shops took on the name of the Tire Choice family, while our commercial shops are now known as McGee Commercial Tire & Services, but you can still expect the same things you always did with us. That means OEM-quality replacement parts on every job, state-of-the-art repair facilities and tools and a service staff that's trained and experienced with the latest in automotive technology. It also means you can still expect the same great deals on top-brand tires for commercial accounts. As part of the Tire Choice network, we can leverage volume buying prices to your advantage, and offer a price point on tires that you can't beat anywhere.

For commercial customers, we know that your vehicles are probably your biggest operating expense. That doesn't have to mean they're your biggest headache, though.
